Variety: 100% Mencía |Type: Young Red (Without Wood) |D.O. Bierzo
Mingus embodies the vitality and power of the Mencía grape in its purest state. This wine is an invitation to discover the freshness and wild fruit that only the vines aged between 80 and 100 years can offer. Made under a philosophy of minimal intervention, Mingus is a vibrant, intense red that is deeply honest about its origin in El Bierzo.
Concentration of Old Vines: Coming from centenary vineyards, this young red possesses a richness of nuances and a structure that is rarely found in unaged wines.
Fermentation with Indigenous Yeasts: The must ferments naturally in small tanks, respecting the authentic character of the land and the grape.
Natural Strength Unfiltered: Following artisanal methods, Mingus is clarified by natural decantation without using filters, which preserves all the intensity, colour, and natural expression of the fruit.
Winery: 13 Vines.
Grapes: 100% Mencía from century-old vineyards.
Production: Short fermentation (9 days) and clarification by racking.
