A product that not only comes from the land but also from the memory, effort, and desire to reclaim what was once ours.
📜 The Rebirth of a Forgotten Tradition
Although El Bierzo is world-renowned for its wines, few know that the olive tree also formed part of our landscape. Centuries ago, the olive groves of Bierzo produced high-quality oils, until historical decisions —such as those of the Count-Duke of Olivares in the 17th century— halted their cultivation in favour of other products. Today, more than 400 years later, the olive tree is taking root again in Pieros and Arganza, two privileged locations where the mild climate and fertile soil create the perfect conditions for exceptional oil. With The Heir, we not only create a product: we recover a story.
